About Us

With the help of her family, Alexis started Critters and Crops in January of 2024. She completed her Master of the Arts in Biology in 2022 with Project Dragonfly. Her undergrad in Zoology was completed at Miami University. She strives to build an exciting educational program, while managing the conservation of heritage breed livestock species and native wildlife.

Conner completed his bachelor's degree in Zoology at Miami University in 2022. He spends most of his time off the farm working with the elephant team at Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. His specialty is animal wellfare and he strives to ensure our facility maintains the top husbandry and enrichment standards. 

Mikayla is currently completing her degree in Horticulture with a focus on greenhouse management and sustainable agriculture.
