Current projects

With this project we aim to draw attention to our local bat populations which have declined over 90% in recent years. We are working to find and count bat roosts and use thermal imaging alongside acoustic call recognition to identify and observe bats! Our ultimate goal is to begin hosting local night hikes to look for bats and educate the public on their importance.
